Our next screenshot details the character screen, where you can view all the stats and equipment of each of your characters.

On the left is the character's name, their current level, HP and SP, and all their stats. Here's a breakdown of what each of them mean:

ATK: Your physical attack power. Higher ATK means physical attacks do more damage.

PDEF: Physical Defense, your level of protection against normal attacks.

MDEF: Magical Defense, your protection against magical attacks.

STR: Strength. Affects non-magical special abilities, and has a minor impact on physical damage.

DEX: Dexterity. Affects your evasion rate and your ability to hit enemies.

SPD: Speed. Determines how quickly characters perform their actions in combat (characters or monsters with higher speed typically go first).

INT: Intelligence. Determines how effective any magical spells are.
